Pay Disparity and Sexual Harassment Filed Against Cedar Realty CEO Schanzer

Ex CEO of Cedar Realty Nancy H Mozzachio filed a lawsuit against the company’s current CEO Bruce Schanzer for the charges of pay discrimination and sexual harassment. Whether the lawsuit will proceed or not, the decision will be made by the judge in Brooklyn.

According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. CEO Schanzer also called former COO Nancy “babe” and has made a few side comments about her breasts. CEO Schanzer is also being accused of making an imprudent comment about bringing some Double Ds to work while Nancy was drinking a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts. When she decided to proceed in filing a case of sexual harassment and pay disparity to court, her position has been terminated. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.

It was in the year 2015 when an outside investigator decided to open up the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty started probing on the said allegations. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators. There was even one employee that reportedly went to Wall Street Journal to share her experience about Schanzer asking about the color of her underwear. Most of the people who claimed to be sexually harassed by the CEO has been paid a large amount of money for their silence, to prevent these stories from reaching to the investigators.
